The Tabernacle School of Theology was found on March 15, 1955 in the city of Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia.

At the first year of its enrollment, the school started with no campuses at all; it was kindness of the member at ”Christ the Redeemer” of Bethel Tabernacle Church of Surabaya, Indonesia; all the students were invited to stay and used its facilities for the intensively 6 months term of their study. Since then, more than 3000 alumni were spread out and works as minister in a various denominations / church organizations in all over Indonesia until today.

In the year of 1970, The Tabernacle School of Theology by the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, was able to settled in a piece of land in the city of Lawang, East Java, Indonesia; and started with only one very simple building; and it developing and improving with so many various facilities such as classrooms, dormitories, housing for the faculties, library, hall, and of course the office. The School also has a change to have another piece of land with the purposes of building another study center area, which will be use by the student.
